"Although I know other users seem to like this card, my experience has been nothing but hassles with this card, even with software other than SFX. At best, I find it gives me random clicks and pops in the audio playback. In one case I could never get the unit to be recognized by the computer no matter what I tried. When I plugged in another firewire interface, the same computer worked perfectly fine. I would stay away from this card if at all possible. If you need a high channel count of ADAT Opticals and your budgets allow, go with RME instead, you'll pay a lot more, but cry only once."

"I've had good luck with this interface on SFX 6. It is totally incompatible with SFX 5.6"
